Change your Birthday on your phone
Make sure you have downloaded the Facebook app before you start. Today do this, head over to the app store if you are on your iPhone. Google Play store if you are using an Android device.
Type in ‘Facebook‘ and go ahead and tap in ‘Install‘.
Make sure you log-in using your Phone Number/Email Address and password. if you have forgotten both then head over to this link.
Step 1: You will have to open the Facebook app. If Facebook ends up crashing then check out the linked article.
Step 2: You should see the burger menu in the bottom right corner. Tap on this to access the menu. Look in the picture below if you can’t find it.
Step 3: Now tap on your name. You should be taken to your profile after doing this.
Step 4: Now you are on your profile page, you need to scroll down a bit until you see a section above you photos saying ‘About‘. Tap on this in order to access a few settings.
Step 5: Once you are in the about section, you will need to scroll down to the Basic Info section and tap on Edit in the top corner. If you are an Android device, you will have to tap on More About you.
Step 6: You will now be able to change your birthday here. in the section that says ‘Birth year’, you will need to put the year in which you were born. Tap on the drop-down icon to change your birth date.
Step 7: You are all done. Now tap on Save in the bottom section of ‘Edit Profile’. Your birthday and age have been successfully changed on Facebook.

How to Change your Birthday on Facebook on the Desktop version
Step 1: If you are on your desktop, you will need to head over to the Facebook website.
Step 2: Make sure that you are already logged in. If you aren’t, then go ahead so using your Phone Number/Email address and Password.
Step 3: You will now need to tap on your name which should be along the top menu of your Facebook homepage in order to go to your Facebook profile.
Step 4: Now tap on the about tab, It should be below your profile picture. This is where all your birthday settings will be.
Step 5: On the left-hand side panel, you should see a section saying Basic contact and basic info. Tap on this in order to change your Birthday.
Step 6: Now go down to the birthday section to edit it. It should be below the ‘Basic Info’ section. Hover over whichever section you want to edit and click on the Edit button on the right-hand side of each section.
Step 7: Now click on save changes and you are now done. You have successfully changed your birthday.
